This service is in a gray area. Some states may technically require a ‘natural hair license’. This is usually just a simple online test and a small fee. Look up *your state.gov” for cosmetology license information.
No, you do not. However, we strongly recommend that anyone who is serious about creating a successful Glitter-lite business, take our courses.

Keep in mind, it’s less expensive to do the BOSS and PRO modules together by purchasing the complete Sparkle Like a Boss course.
Sparkle Like a Boss contains 4.5 hours of content, plus the time it takes to implement the lessons.
You’ll learn how to provide this service at the beginning, so you can start having fun ASAP! The business building modules can be completed at your own pace.
Sparkle Like a PRO contains 2 hours of content, plus your practice time. You can go at your own pace and do not need to complete everything at once.
Absoutely. The courses were designed by a stylist, for stylists. Our founder, Kelsea Jensen, was a hairstylist for ten years. She understands exactly how busy it can be to start and grow a successful hairstylist business.
The courses are designed to fit your busy lifestyle. They are 100% self-paced and include unlimited replays. If you need extra time to complete the course, no problem! You have 60 days of access to all modules and resources.
The short answer: BOSS has 19 modules. PRO has 8 modules.

About Goddess Glitter
Unlike other hair tinsel options available, Goddess Glitter strands are made up of multiple layers of material.
As a result, Goddess Glitter strands are much stronger and don’t stretch while styling. They can also handle more heat, and they stay knotted in longer for lasting results.
Despite their strength, our strands are also more delicate for a more natural appearance.
One glitter strand is tied and knotted to one single hair strand. Thanks to our custom Goddess Glitter tools, the process is fast and simple. Glitterlites make hair tinsel more pleasurable for clients and profitable for stylists.
The standard 25-strand application typically lasts…
- 6 weeks (adults)
- 3 weeks (kiddos)
Each individual strand will shed naturally with the single hair it is tied to. Sometimes Glitter lasts much longer!
There are a few ways to help your glitter last even longer!
- Try to resist touching the individual strands. You may accidentally pluck them out.
- Although Goddess Glitter is heat resistant, using less heat is always best for long-lasting sparkle.
Beginners typically find the process to be too time-consuming and frustrating. Goddess Glitter applied without training typically lasts only a few days.

"Can Glitter strands handle..."
Yes! Not need to stop styling your fun, new hair. Goddess Glitter is heat resistant to 400°. We do suggest turning the heat down to around 375° for best results.
Yep! Goddess Glitter is resistant to all hair colors and chemical services. Using a high volume lightner will dull the strands a little bit. We always recommend applying fresh strands after all your chemical processes are finished.
Absoultely. Goddess Glitter is a delicate, multi-ply strand that will start to blend itself in with the texture. You can also heatstyle or twirl them in to match the curl pattern.
